TYPES
OF INTERVENTIONS:
Influencing Stakeholders:
To inform & educate the stakeholder viz CSOs, Govt. & other
forces activities/programs highlight the issues, so that informed
discussions will be taken.
Research
& Documentation:
Research/studies
on issues affecting the sector as a whole are carried out and carefully
documented. These documents are disseminated among the stakeholders
to inform about the issue and organize meetings/workshops for advocacy.
Sensitizing
& Perspective Building:
The
issues studied are documented in an analytical fashion, besides
sensitization. It develops questions and ideas among the CSOs, the
government, the market forces, donors and other interested individuals
about the actual situation.
Multi
Stakeholder dialogue:
Dialogues
are initiated with all the stakeholders at different levels through
meetings, workshops, and conferences. Views and suggestions from
various quarters provide more holistic approach to the issue and
a variety of choices to choose from. This also brings the stakeholders
closer to each other and also closer to UPVAN. |
