UPVAN is gradually proceeding towards democratic values through transparency & accountability & gaining strength. Certainly, UPVAN is adhered to its vision by intervening the issues related to the policy of identifying BPL households in rural U.P. In this process, ownership of this issue by its member organization was commendable. The real picture of poor plan implementation was exposed for all. The reports related to the Mid Day Meal program, National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme & the report on Realizing Rights & Government Accountability were disseminated for mobilizing people & influencing Government. |
